Since the SAGE Scholars are given outstanding presentation skills training, they are also extraordinary ambassadors for what can be achieved through a dedicated and focused program. SAGE Scholars are quickly growing into dynamic leaders who are making valuable contributions within companies and communities. The SAGE Scholars are committed to improving their lives. SAGE gave me the tools I needed for success. Through an internship that SAGE helped me obtain at Novartis, I fell in love with the field of drug discovery. Upon graduation I received multiple job offers. I am now working as a research associate at UCSF due to the interview, presentation, and resume skills that SAGE helped me improve. I am currently working on a project that combines my background in molecular evolution and my experience in drug discovery.

There's a saying my high school counselor told me in 9th grade: "Reach for the stars, so if you don't obtain the stars, at least you'll have the moon." SAGE has given me the confidence to reach for the stars and the tools to make my dreams a reality.
